Using Cloakmoji

Cloakmoji is a free app for turning messages into emojis and back. By using it you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the app.

You must be at least 13 years old to use Cloakmoji.

What you send is up to you

You are responsible for the messages you write and where you send them. Do not use Cloakmoji to harass, bully, threaten, scam or deceive anyone, or to hide anything illegal. Follow the law where you live and the rules of the chat apps you use.

Passwords cannot be recovered

A message locked with a password can only be opened with that password. We never see it and cannot recover it, and neither can anyone else. If it is lost, the message is lost.

A message without a password is only scrambled: anyone who has Cloakmoji can open it. Do not send anything sensitive without a password.

No guarantees

Cloakmoji is provided as it is, without any warranty. A message may fail to open if part of it is not copied, or if a chat app changes or removes characters (the One emoji style is the most sensitive to this). Do not rely on Cloakmoji as the only copy of anything important.

"Read once" hides a message inside Cloakmoji on one phone. It cannot stop a screenshot or a copy made another way.

To the extent the law allows, we are not liable for any loss or damage that comes from using the app.

Ads

Cloakmoji shows ads from Google AdMob. We do not control what advertisers show and are not responsible for their products or websites.

Changes and contact

We may update these terms. The new version will be in the app and on this page with a new date.
